The stage is set, the pitch is ready, the players are in full form and above all our Bollywood stars are in full josh to deliver stunning performances at the opening ceremony of Indian Premier League, IPL 8. IPL is a perfect amalgamation of cricket and Bollywood. Apart from the celebrity co-owners like Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, Preity Zinta, Shilpa Shetty, we get to see many stars at the stadium comes to cheer up for their favourite teams and friends.
Like every year, this year also the opening ceremony will be glittering and starry. Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Madhuri Dixit will set the stage on fire with their rocking performances. Shahrukh Khan with his family landed in Abu Dhabi two days back to take part in the extravaganza.
“King Khan, whose children Aryan and Suhana are regular visitors at almost all the IPL matches, is also accompanied by his youngest son AbRam along with wife Gauri,” reports suggest.
This is AbRam’s first visit to the IPL and it is not yet known whether the toddler will be with his parents for the rest of the matches.
SRK tweeted picture from Abu Dhabi during rehearsals, he wrote: “All nighter in Abu Dhabi. Haven’t slept 2 days but I know it will be fun with the IPL players so hard work comes easy.”
SRK further tweeted: “The full moon has followed me from Mumbai to Abu Dhabi…so has its dark side. Nice to be here & seeing all my IPL buddies. Bulawa aaya hai.”
Apart from single performances by Deepika and Shahrukh Khan, Shahrukh and Deepika will also be performing jointly. King Khan and Deepika will be performing to hit numbers like ‘Lungi Dance’, and ‘Chammak Challo’ to name a few.
Above all, a lavish dinner will be held at Emirates Palace which will be hosted by the son of Sheikh of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan. All the celebrities associated with the IPL will be part of the pre-IPL bash.
