Alia Bhatt, who shares a steamy kiss in her upcoming film ‘2 States’ with Arjun Kapoor, says she has no problems with love-making scenes.
Why? "Have you seen my father’s films? His films are so bold,” Alia Bhatt said. The actress is obviously as forthright with her views as Mahesh Bhatt.
Elaborating on her love-making scene, she said, “The content of the script needs to be portrayed on the silver screen. I am open to performing any bold scenes if it justifies the script. In '2 States', the smooch was inevitable and I had to perform it.”
And what about rumours that she is dating co-star Arjun Kapoor? She clarifies, “Well, none of my co-stars have confessed their love to me on a personal level. It has only been ‘reel’ love.”
The actress was in a candid mood at a product launch Thursday evening. To her 'love' means: "Something not bound by any conditions, you may fall for someone at any point of time. However, you may try to restrict your heart from doing so if your mind does not permit you. But eventually the heart rules the mind. Love is companionship and is being able to love a person the way he is.”
'2 States' will release on April 18.
